The solution:
Perhaps with my computing background and being a musician, I thought that the internet and the web would be the ideal platform for this kind of forum. First I thought of a website. Then after that, my thoughts zoomed in to a weblog. I thought that this platform could over come many of the limitations hindering a physical forum.
Time: Users could read, write and discuss when they have time. There would be no time constraints attached.
Place: Although most musicians are not online freaks like me, I figured that the newer generation would be online even both at work and at home. Also, it would be easier to sell the idea of a forum to fresh candidates than apathetic ones as a weblog.
Purpose: Through this weblog, perhaps the participants would find a purpose of their own. Perhaps the purpose would be subject to constant change. And thus, may lead to a physical forum.
